For years, horses have shaped how our family lives and how we care for the land around us. As Rein Maker Ranch evolves, we are taking that relationship with the land further.

Rein Maker Farmstead is being developed around the belief that healthy animals, healthy soil, thoughtful agriculture, and good stewardship are interconnected. Rather than trying to build everything at once, we are developing the farmstead intentionally—improving pastures, expanding food production, adding livestock, learning from the land, and creating systems designed to work together.

What’s Growing for 2027

Regenerative Pastures & Rotational Grazing

Healthy land starts with healthy soil. We are developing rotational grazing and pasture-management practices designed to reduce overgrazing, encourage stronger forage growth, improve soil health, and make better use of the ranch's natural resources. These improvements benefit both our farmstead livestock and the horses cared for at Rein Maker Ranch.

Farm-Fresh Fruits & Vegetables

Food production will become a major part of Rein Maker Farmstead. Our plans include seasonal vegetables, fruits, berries, herbs, and other crops suited to Central Oklahoma's growing conditions. As production expands, our goal is to make farm-grown products available directly from the farm and through local markets.

Dairy & Farmstead Products

Dairy animals are also part of our developing farmstead. Our long-term vision includes fresh farm products and small-batch foods produced with an emphasis on quality, responsible animal care, and a connection between the people consuming the food and the farm where it originated. As products become available, we will share information here about seasonal offerings, availability, and purchasing.

Small-Batch & Preserved Foods

Part of homesteading is learning how to make the most of what the land produces. Future Rein Maker Farmstead offerings may include seasonal and small-batch foods created from farm-grown ingredients, along with traditional preservation methods that allow us to extend the harvest beyond the growing season.

Homesteading & Hands-On Education

We don't want Rein Maker Farmstead to be something people can only watch from the outside. As the farmstead develops, we plan to offer practical educational experiences centered around skills associated with rural and homestead living. Topics may include food preservation, gardening, dairy and cheesemaking, livestock care, pasture management, and other hands-on farmstead skills.

The goal isn't perfection—it's helping people become more confident doing things for themselves.
