FAQ’S

Q: Is boarding month-to-month or is there a contract? Boarding at Rein Maker Ranch is month-to-month — no long-term contract required. We believe the quality of our facility and care speaks for itself, and we want boarders here because they love the ranch, not because they're locked in.

Q: Can I visit my horse whenever I want? Yes — boarders have 24/7 access to the facility. Your horse is yours, and we want you to feel welcome at any time of day or night.

‍ ‍

Q: How much does full-care boarding cost? Full-care reining horse boarding is $800 per month. This includes premium alfalfa, Bluebonnet grain, daily stall cleaning, premium shavings, automatic heated waterers, indoor stalls with fans, and access to both the indoor and outdoor reining arenas.

‍ ‍

Q: Do I have to use the on-site trainer? Not at all. Reining training is available on site if you want it, but it is completely optional.

‍ ‍

Q: How does the farrier schedule work? Our farrier visits every 6 weeks. This is an additional fee on top of your monthly boarding rate. If you have a preferred farrier you'd like to use, we're happy to accommodate that as well.

‍ ‍

Q: Can I use the equine rehabilitation services for my boarded horse? Yes — one of the biggest advantages of boarding here is direct access to Advanced Equine Recovery & Rehabilitation on the same property. Whether your horse needs water treadmill therapy, is recovering from surgery, or you simply want to invest in their long-term soundness, our rehab team is right here.

‍ ‍

Q: What types of horses do you board? We board horses competing in reining and reining-adjacent disciplines including ranch riding, reined cow horse, and working cow horse. Our arenas and footing are designed to support these disciplines. No barrel racing, jumping, or driving is permitted.
